It seems that Lewis was going in the direction that I thought he would go in. As he slowly unfolds his train of thought, he makes some insightful observations about the law at work within us. I thought it was neat how he talked about us not merely observing men, but being men. We have an inside perspective on how we work. Thats kind of a step back and think about it kind of thing. From this we can reveal a clue of the universe and how it works or who made it. The breakdown into the materialist view and religious view was also as expected. The argument makes plenty of sense though. The idea of how the force being good made for an interesting ping ponging back and forth between whether this was good for us or bad for us. Just knowing that something is all good isn’t really a comfort or a benefit. It could be more scary than anything else.

Today as I was driving I got to see a few peoples lives completely changed. It’s a strange thing to think that most moments in a day are nothing special, or perhaps the opposite of that, that nothing was tragic. When a day passes by and acts as boring it really is as much a blessing as any day could be. Luckily most days aren’t tragic. At least that’s the case in my end of the world. We do tend to spend a lot of time complaining that more days aren’t special. Special days are truly great blessings and we shouldn’t forget that. To have any day beyond tragic is really a very good day.
