-Wow, so thats that with school. Can't believe its all over already. It goes so fast.
32He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
-As much as God is a father to Jesus, he will be the same to us. It's almost as if we just walked into a strangers house and immediately became family to them. It would feel awkward at first to call someone else father and for them to call us son, but eventually we'd get used to it.
33Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
-There's nobody that can accuse against us once God has chosen us. We need to realize this because satan is the great accuser. Justification is what it is...legal status of righteousness.
34Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
-Jesus is the only one that could condemn us, but if we are chosen he doesn't. Christ has this authority because he was raised from the dead and is at a special place near God.
-Jesus doesn't sit idly, but as an interceder.
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
-With this in mind, we must realize that we will always be near Christ. Nothing separates us from the love of Christ.
36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."
-Not everyone is called to face death all day long, but some are. These people are so humble and are truly willing to die for their faith.
37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
-We must equip ourselves with this attitude that we are conquerors. We gain new land and win.
38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
-There is an assurance here from these verses that we won't be separated from God.
-No force or power or anything has the power to put together what God puts together.
