2 Timothy 3:8-12

this passage ends with a stark reality. that is that everyone who lives a godly life will be persecuted. persecution comes in all forms. from being physically, verbally, and mentally assaulted to having to live a non conforming lifestyle. some will experience more than others. but some, i'm sure, will be rewarded more than others according to what they have done. Paul begins this passage by talking about people that are bad teachers. teachers that rejected the truth. in opposition to that paul says to follow his example in his faith, teaching, and way of life. its good that paul lived in such a way to lay that strong an example. even in persecution. persecution will come. hopefully i can set an example when it does...or at least do my best to follow those who set examples as well.
