In this passage paul talks about resurrection. apparently people of that time had a teaching that there was none. paul just counters all this by explaining why there is a resurrection and how silly it would be for their faith if there was none. everything in our faith comes down to the resurrection of Christ. without it we have nothing. it's crazy or even almost unimaginable that something like that could happen, but with God anything is possible. that seems like an easy excuse to explain something difficult, but history also has some clues that the resurrection actually happened. and the rest I leave to faith.
he is alive is all the hope we have in this world. if it's not true then everything else doesn't matter.
