Zechariah 11:1-11
In this passage there are bad shepherds that don't take care of their flock well. Since they were so abused and marked for slaughter God steps in to take care of them instead. The flock later turned on the good shepherd. The good shepherd gave up on the bad flock. This is a strange teaching but as so much of Zechariah is, it is prophetic. It's sad that sheep would turn on a good shepherd like that, but we often do the same. why why why? Guess the desire for self and sin makes us dumb. we need God's help to overcome it.
