From this passage I can learn that priests were assigned by God. People going astray are hard to work with so the ideal preist is able to be gentle with them. People without patience shouldn't be priests. Christ was assigned to be a priest by God. Things Jesus did as preist:
1) offered up prayers and petitions. This was done fervently with tears.
2) he was reverently submissive. because of this his prayers were heard. This is a secret to God hearing our prayers.
3) Obedience came through suffering. This is how we learn to be obedient and to be perfect.
These are important things to learn from Christ's example.
