Hebrews 9:16-22

In this passage it talks about a will or covenant that Christ made. This will was passed on through his death. The inheritance for all in this will was eternal life. i guess in some ways Israels covenant with God foreshadowed this because it was a blood covenant. One point could be that this was all very serious business. These weren't contracts to be broken or taken lightly. God had a definite plan in mind while doing all this. We should also look to that plan and take it seriously. Just like we need to fulfill things in any other contract we should look at this contract carefully that we make with God to see that we're fulfilling it. God will help in seeing that it is fulfilled, but we must also do our part and not be negligent.
