Hebrews 7:1-10
In this passage it talks a lot about this priest named Melchizedek. Mel represented Christ. Abraham gave an offering to Mel, which represented giving an offering to God, after a victory of his. We should seek to honor God as well with the possessions that we receive as a declaration that it was God's power that allowed us this victory. This can be through work, school, or anything else. We should do our best not to forget that God is king. He is the one that allows all things in our lives. If we forget this we quickly run into bad ground. Don't forget, Christ is the provider.
