Hebrews 4:12-16

This passage seems to be linked to the stuff that just came previous. People can fake that their hearts aren't hardened, but God can tell. The word judges the heart and can tell. People may not be able to tell, but God will judge correctly on that day. So again, the admonishment is to hear his voice today. We have a good priest in Jesus. He knows what we go through. Not just the all knowing kind of know, but the "he's lived through it" kind of know. He treats us with kindness and grace. Knowing this we should run to him in our weakness and sin. We're lucky God is this way. God in his justice could've treated us very differently. whew. we're lucky.
