Revelations 18:9-19
In this passage it mostly describes the reactions of the kings, merchants and that were associated with Babylon as they see the city destroyed. They are very distraught over how the city was destroyed because it provided many luxuries for them. There is a large list of items that were carried from there. In this day and age this could easily be a reality. If one super power country was destroyed it would make financial doom for many. The splendor and wealth of the wicked is so unsure and easily destroyed. We need to watch out from holding on to these things as our security. It's nice to have but there is no assurance in it. We need to trust in God whether we're rich or poor.
