Rev 18:1-8

After a short break back to blogging. :)
In this passage John had just finished seeing something. After this he saw an angel with authority and splendor come down to declare some things. He declares that Babylon is about to receive judgment. Babylon had become a place of great evil. The kings of the world And all the nations had also taken part in it's idolatries. As judgment falls on them another voice calls Gods people out from them. There are still some that remain faithful even amidst so much sin. It would be good to be one of those thAt stay faithful. God doesn't forget the sins of the wicked. Even though it seems like they get away with it, they aren't. Judgements will fall double on the wicked. We can't be fooled into thinking thAt sin is free. The sinful think they are in control but reality says God is the one who is really in control. Judgement will Be complete when the time comes. Not a good day to be the wicked. Sometimes the righteous seem to be jealous of a the wickeds freedom, but there is nothing to be jealous of.
