Although babylons demise is a tragedy for the rest of the world, Gods people will rejoice. They were treated poorly by Babylon. Babylons destruction will be quick and complete. All the pride of Babylon will be no more. Babylon had killed many saints and prophets. Their blood is not forgotten.
It's worth trusting God. He doesn't forget our oppression. There is a time where the wicked prosper, but it is never forever. Gods judgement eventually comes.
