Judges 2:13-23

In this passage it gives the pattern of how Israel would live during the time of the judges. Basically they turned away from God until their path became so hard for them that God would rescue them thru a leader. They would turn back to God and when that leader passed they would go into revelry again. This same pattern persisted. The Israelites would constantly break God's agreement. The nations left to test them would prove their failure.

God leaves a lot around us to test our faithfulness as well. Unfortunately I probably fail more than I should. I should look at God's promises and commands more carefully so I don't fall into the foolishness of the Israelites. I'm not sure why we become so blind sometimes, but we should really keep our eyes open to our failure.
