rev 19:9-16

-In this passage an angel speaks to John and tells him to write some things. The thing he's supposed to write or what others are to know is that those who make it to the wedding feast are truly truly blessed. Apparently this angel was quite a site because john wanted to bow before him. But he was told not to. We are only to worship God. The scene then changes as a rider on a white horse enters. This rider is Christ and much is said about him. It's very descriptive yet mysterious. But the description leaves no doubt that he is the one and only.

The wedding feast is something that we better not miss or we're done for. It's strange how people are so wired to worship great things. Even though this angel wasn't to be worshiped John almost bowed down because he appeared great. We can't bow down to great looking things, we need to make sure that we only worship God. The picture of Christ we get as the rider of the white horse is such a powerful and strong one. It's kind of different from the meek and humble lamb. But all of these are qualities worth admiring.
