14Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
-more thoughts on sincere love. almost seems like extreme love more than anything else. the other stuff previous was ok, but this stuff is very tough.
-the commands given are to bless those who are oppressive towards you. more clarity is given to the statement that we are to bless rather then curse. This command is extremely clearly given. First with the statement, then with a statement to further the fact that curse is not a part of the equation. This is tough to do for sure.
15Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
-back to a more reasonable sounding sincere love. be there for each other regardless of the case. rich or poor. happy or sad. make it our business to share in the other persons business.
16Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
-Living in harmony is one of those things easier said than done. This is important to do and a life long journey of learning. we have to make effort to be able to do this. It doesn't mean we have to be best of friends with everyone, but we should be able to live peacefully together.
-Another curse that plagues people is thinking that we better than others. in the big picture we're all in the same boat. in the smaller picture we do have divisions. we need to not be so prideful as to stay away or diminish low position people. they are people too and they deserve sincere love like anyone else.
