Exodus 20

In this passage God gives moses the ten commandments. After studying these for last semester I have a deep respect for them. God has done a helpful thing in highlighting these. God was very clear in these commandments. Just thinking about them, if we were to follow these it would help us in so many areas of life: family, work, our relationship with God, etc. There's a lot of wisdom in this. In the end of this passage God speaks about idols again. This was significant in the lives of the Israelites. In other ways idolatry is significant in our lives as well. we need to be wise to this and make sure our lives aren't rooted in the worship of other things.
