Exodus 19

God is so interesting in Exodus. In this passage he plans a meeting with Moses. He gives moses specific instructions on how He is going to meet with him and how he is to keep the people away from the mountain upon which they meet. As they meet God tells moses again to go down and warn the people not to go up the mountain. It's so curious that God decides to meet in such a fashion, but maybe it was for the people to remind them that God was for Moses and the people. Seems like it should be obvious by now. Maybe that's one of the nice things about God we should consider. Even though it should be obvious by now that He is God, He still takes another opportunity to remind us that he's still there. That's patience in teaching us. We're fools for ever forgetting, but luckily God is gracious enough to say hello again. So next time God says hello say thank you.
