Exodus 15

The first half of this passage is a song about the crossing of the Red Sea. Very appropriately they sing about how God was the hero of the day. He is the one that won the victory. They call God the warrior and the one who fought and won the victory. This is very much how we should think of our successes as well. God is the one who works for us and through us. If Israel took credit for that then it would be ridiculous. This is the same when we take credit for things that God has done. God's hand is in all things big and small.

The second half of this passage shows the Israelites grumbling over water. This would be a tough situation to not have water for 3 days. None the less, God had been walking with them every step of the way out of Egypt its too bad that they run out of faith in God so quickly. We must learn to trust in God when we're parched and tired as well. With God there is always an answer.
