Exodus 18
In this passage we meet Jethro Moses' father in law. He comes and visits Moses and hears of all the Lord has done for Israel. It seems that Moses and Jethro have a very good relationship. Jethro gives Moses a very important piece of advice as he watches Moses govern the people. This advice to spread out his responsibility is good for any leader to pay attention to. Leaders get burnt out to often because they take on to much responsibility. It is work to train people, but much less than doing it all on your own. Too much is not good.
