Genesis 24

In this chapter it talks about how Abrahams servant finds Isaac a wife. This is a pretty crazy story. Wish we all had it this simple when it comes to finding a wife. The servant goes through a lot in order to find this woman, but the Lord is with him the whole way. Abraham is also confident in that the Lord is working and will provide for his son. Lessons from this story are first that we should have faith in God and that he will accomplish his plan. This seems like a theme running through Genesis. Secondly, simililarly to the first, is that we should act on the faith that we have. This servant prayed to God for success. That is another thing we should learn to do whenever we're in doubt or need. God is good and faithful. It's kind of crazy how all things work out in the end, but the adventure is the fun in the journey.
