Genesis 21:1-7

In this passage the promise that God made to Abraham finally gets fulfilled. In their old age they bear a child named Isaac. This was a joyous occasion for them. God does things in his own time. It's seems like that's one of God's calling cards. This promise took years to fulfill but it was done. We need to learn to be patient and have faith to wait on God's timing. We always want things our way in our time, but God has other things in mind. When it happens like this it can only be God. So he's showing himself to them and others. We need to believe as well. It's for sure not easy, but we need to learn.
