Genesis 22

In this passage Abraham shows great faith in his almost sacrifice of his son. In some ways this is a very crazy story. Why would God want him to do this to his own son. Part of it seems to be a test of faith. The other part must be prophetic for Jesus being a replacement sacrifice. Regardless this would take great faith to do. I don't know what I would do in the same situation. From an outsider position I would just think he's crazy. But what seems crazy to man makes sense to God, and eventually to us as we see why he did what he does. Even though the picture isn't completely clear at the time I think we can learn to trust God and see him through. And we'll find that he's faithful as always.
